Overlap Flash upon Video problem

Thanks for the sample, It really help out.

And I found my problem. The problem was I had a background image
on a layer behind my video window. It seems that the video window will not play if there is a background image behind. So what I did is cut through my Background image a hole with the size of my video window and the problem was solved. Everything works, even overlapping flash.

Set bVideoOnTop to False is correct.
There is no problem from my test.

When I try to overlap flash animations on top of video that was
inserted with the smartclip, it plays on the back of the video.

I changed the smartclip parameters to ( bVideoOnTop:False )

and when I do that, video doesn't play

any suggestions

I used the method you explained and it cured my problem with the video clip flashing black before and after it ran. The problem now is that if you set video on top to false the video clip seems to get dark and muddy looking when run as a projector. Any ideas on why that might be happening?
