Anybody know how it is done? protocol7 have a good example. Cheers, Byron. |

Thanks,
I have written a 3D engine which was published in Computer Arts (you can check it out at http://www.xiotex.free-online.co.uk) but I have been trying to do filled polys dynamically in flash for ages. I had some success using a method similar to scanline conversion but obviously too slow. I am guessing that by scaling and rotating a mixture of triangles you can achieve a convex polygon but my math is not brilliant so it is taking me ages. Protocol7 seems to have done it and it looks fast! Cheers, Byron. |
