Default different displays / controls - different user types

hi,

I have a Flex 2 application, and within the application I have varios menu bars, buttons and link etc that I want to change - depending on the "different" user type of the current user - e.g. Administrator / general user / special user etc....

is there a way that I can only show certtain (relevent) links that are relevent to the / a specific user.... ???

can I put them into some dort of object ???

can anyone suggest the best way to go about doing this?

thanks,
Jon.
