(ps. I read this place has implied limit of 25 lines of code, well I don't think this you can do much in just 25 lines; feel free to prove me wrong, but I would suggest to have no code limit for this)

1 there is an example, but you just couldn't read that far
2 it does look "dull", but the whole thing is not about how it looks
3 my username keeps people who are "insulted just by looking at the username" out of this (I'm not sure if saying so will insult you even more, but I dont think such people would be valuable contributors in this case)

Insulting people as a standard mode of behavior generally is not that productive when trying to win friends and influence people, unless you live in "the hood" and are a "homie".

This place is very much like a bar. There are regulars, there are occasional visitors, and there are rules of conduct. When you walk in, never having entered the place before, and start throwing around expletives ... well, let's just say the regulars here won't like you very much for that.

yeah but if you follow the links you would see that having nice username and not posting insults does nothing to improve answer rate. I think there are deeper reasons why this particular kirupa's battle never came alive, old topic was there for - what - 10 monthes, and 2nd post there states that such event has also failed before on another forum. as a matter of fact, I am now quite sure that most of people are simply incapable to participate.

incapable? Thats pretty rude....AS[org] have some of the better Flash minds around. Did you ever consider that maybe you're challenge was incapable of challenging people? Or that some saw it as a useless cry for attention..Pick your words better..

Why don't you just do a different challenge... I'm sure that there are people that would want to challenge you in something that interests everyone.

That is pretty much a same thing. Challenge is only capable to challenge people if they are capable of participating

Well it was not like "I have an idea for challenge". Idea was already there for 10+ monthes. This "challenge" was made to prove that it was possible what guys @kirupa were up to... sort of "cmon we can do it" stuff. It appears, though, that I was wrong and we can't
