I am a football fanatic.....Looking at it from a completely un-objective point of view....I am sure England are going to Win the world cup.

well if people are going to be unrealistic and say that England are going to win, then the least i can do is go for the most under-rated team who actually could pull it off, i.e. not England 'cos it would take a miracle for them to play well enough (as well as Heskey not playing, which let's face it is probably not going to happen). No, i think Sweden stand a much better chance with their consistency and quality attacking players - Larsson and Freddie (who better not be seriously injured).
I also quite fancy Cameroon as outsiders 'cos their game is quite well-suited to the conditions out there in Korea - lazy passing around along the floor.
however the sensible money is on France i think, since Argentina just don't play as they can all the time - especially when it matters.

PS. didn't mean to go on for so long, but i luurrrv football (and i get to watch as many games as possible since i have until 10th June 'til my next exam and then i have another week off  ).

Maybe I should have voted for Argentina, but I lived there for a few years, and here is the irony:
The worse the country's economical situation down there is, the better the players that show up... Sad, but so true...

its funny that the title say "Should be"
"should be" doesn't mean "will be", well, in my opinion, China SHOULD BE the champion because they ve been playing football for 2000 years already....

I voted for Germany because I wacthed the first soccer game of my life the other day and Germany thrashed Saudi Arabia or whomever it was they played. Basically I have no idea. Can someone explain the "off side" rule to me? I understand it in Rugby but not in soccer...
