Forms effected by loading movie

I have a main stage containing 3 frames

1. Play
2. If framesloaded = totalframes goto 3, else goto 1
3. Stop (a movieclip sits on the frae with the entire site on it.)

(these are actually set up as labels not frame numbers)

The problem is my forms now no longer allow me to enter anything into them.
If i remove the first 2 frames of the loading sequence and just have 1 frame with a movie on this, everything works fine.

Is there any reason this loading sequence would effect my forms? Am I creating a loop somehow.

Any help would help me reach deadline and have to listen to a boss orientated lecture.

Using gotoAndStop(3)? And gotoAndPlay(1)...? Other than that, it looks ok to me.
