Is there a command to use to perform the following: I have a CD-Rom project that includes multiple video clips. As the playhead enters a scene in flash, I want to pause the Flash movie until the video has "loaded".
The reason I ask is as follows: Currently I have the "video on top" command set to false because I have a graphic overlayed where the video will appear. As the timeline reaches 1.5 seconds I dissolve the graphic so the video is allready in place and running (video is told to run on frame 1 of the scene). This works great on faster machines but not well on slower (Pentium 3 450 - 256 ram). If I could have the Flash movie wait until the video is ready it would look much smoother. Any ideas. I am not good with usign the commands, so if you know a method that would work I would need it clearly explained and possibly give an example. Thank you kindly in advance. |
