Disable Flash Player??

I am authoring a site in Flash v8. I want to test whether the Flash detection, javascript generated in the HTML when publishing from Flash, is working properly in the event that the visitor does not have the necessary Flash Player installed. Is there a way to temporarily disable the Flash Player on my machine for testing purposes in this case? Might there be an alternate way to do this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if i understand u right then go to tools internet options, the under programs click manage add ons and there should be something like macromedia flash there, it might not be in the place i pointed as your operating system might be diffrent to mine, hope this helps
