Question Sending data to PHP with AS in Flex Builder

I am wanting to send XMLList data to php so that it can generate an xml file and save/overwrite an XML file on the server. I'm pretty sure that teh URLLoader class is the way to go but I know that my actionscript is dead wrong. In the MXML mx:script CDATA tags, mind you. Can anyone provide a sample code that can get me started?
