FLV Export bitmapData to PHP-JPG

I've been trying to find a good bitmapData class for taking a snapshot of an FLV file then export it to PHP and save as a JPG file. Plenty of them work great! But, the only way they work is if the FLV is on the same server as the SWF and PHP files.

So, the question here is, is this not possible using a URL (http://server/flv)?

Thanks for the attempt, but... if you take the fla, change the FLVPlayback component to use a URL like:

http://www.helpexamples.com/flash/video/water.flv

It plays, but the snapshot is blank. But if you load the flv on the server where SWF file is at and set the FLVPlayback component to use:

video/water.flv

It will take the snaspshot, so the what I'm asking, is this; does the bitmapData snapshot not work with a remote .flv file?
