I'm publishing a swf in Flash CS3. I have the publish setting set to Flash Player 9 and the file set to Actionscript 3.0. When I publish the swf it works with Flash open but when I try and run the swf by itself it tries to open it wth flash player 7. I've gone to the download site and downloaded flash player 9 but it still tries to use 7??? Can someone please tell me what could be wrong?
Thanks! |

I'm guessing you still have an older version of Flash authoring installed? You need to associate SWF files with the standalone Flash Player installed with Flash CS3.
On my Windows machine, it's C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\Players\FlashPlayer.exe |
