Welcome aboard Fadi946,

That is usually the response when a file was created in a newer version of Flash then the one opening it.

I have also heard of that happening when a file was corrupted, or if it was created in a cracked version of Flash.

Based on your tirade in the general chat forum, I'm guessing you're not coming back, but anyways...

That error is usually given if you tried to open say, a Flash 9 file from Flash 8.
You said these were your "old files", so if you don't have Flash 9, I don't see how that could be the problem.

I have heard that some people have gotten files with this message to open by re-installing Flash. I even saw a post say that re/installing QuickTime fixed it for them, but that sounds a bit odd to me...

As for where you can download Flash 9 (CS3), if you mean the trial version, try:
http://www.adobe.com/downloads/
If you mean the actual program...uh...I couldn’t/wouldn't help you there, and that could well be the problem you have with your old files...
