How to prevent children from listening to parent's events
So I have set a mouseOver eventListener for an MC which contains a child. Whenever the mouse moves over the child, it hijacks the parents event. How do I prevent this?

MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER and MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT were designed for this purpose as well. Your children won't "hijack" the event.
