Default saving to flash MX 2004????

I need to convert 2 files from flash cs3 to flash mx 2004 but looks like i can only convert the files to flash 8...
is there any zay to convert the flash files to a lower version????

You then load up in Flash 8, and save it to a MX2004 format...

Yep, like atomic mentioned, you need to use Flash 8 to convert down to MX2004. Adobe only supports converting to the previous version.

I like to post additional information when I can. While your answer was correct, I added the reason why you have to go through Flash 8 to get to MX2004.

Wasn't that kind of obvious, when you can only save to Flash 8 from CS3?

I was just trying to be helpful. Flash 8 was the same way, so its useful information if someone might have wondered if it was like that in the old Macromedia days as well.

You've been along for quite some time... You must of been on some other version then CS3... Wasn't it Flash 8?

If it wasn't, and you were only on MX2004, then PM a link to your Flash 8 .fla(s) and I'll convert them for you!
