Default How can I resize a scrollbar component

I have a dynamic text box with an AS2 scrollbar component linked to it. I want to make the bottom of the scroll bar shorter than the text box, but now matter how large I physically size it it stays the same length as the text box. I can get the top to be taller or shorter, but not the bottom. Thanks!

You'll probably get more responses in one of the forums dedicated to AS2 and older versions of Flash. This is the Flash 9 forum and most people here will be working with AS3.
