I'm looking for a flash developer or two to assist me in developing a mmorpg (massive multiplayer online role playing game) that I have begun work on. The game, Winlass, was coded in ASP until last february when I had to take it down due to bandwidth and monetary issues, and I decided that flash was the way to go, and I've found a hosting provider for what my wallet will afford for the time being. Now I'm looking for a developer or two who has interest in Flash gaming, as well as role playing games. The initial work on this project will be for free, since 1) I haven't made any money from Winlass yet, and 2) I've got startup costs associated with it as well, but I intend to keep adding modules and features, which will be paid for before becoming part of the game. At that point, the developers whom I've worked with in the past (meaning who helps me now) will have first dibs on the ability to get the job (most small, big ones will pay more, obviously) and they will make 1/2 to 2/3 of the going rate for that module. For instance, if the users want a Bank module (not hard, very little coding) and I set the rate at $75 for it, when I get the money from the users, I will contract a developer to build the module (again, this is an example, who knows what they'll want) and he/she will recieve up to $50 for it. If the users want a whole new module which will require more work and I set the price at $500, the developer who gets that job will recieve up to $300 for it. Granted, that is in the future, so please remember that as of right now, there can be no payment for your services. But in the future, you stand to make plenty of money if you want to. If you want more information, please email me, or go to www.Winlass.com.

Sounds interesting... I don't have too much time myself, but it doesn't sound bad...

I would like to help. I'm 14 and have been doing flash stuff for about a year now. I don't mind the risk of low pay, I'll still work. If you consider hiring me, email me at jmunro@kc.rr.com, and I can show you a sample of my animation.
