Hello all.
Soon I'll start a series of projects which are simulation based training exercises using Flash. So I'll be handed a flow chart, logic tree digram, etc. and will need to create something that both moves the user to different scenarios based on their multiple choice selection, and also keeps track of the choices for scoring purposes. The simulations are for training sales personal in a retail environment, so an example would be: "A customer walks into your area and expresses a need for xyz, you should: Choice A,B,C or D?" The challenge is the non-linear format of choice A leading the user to a different place than B,C or D. Before I begin attempting this on my own, any advice, thoughts, or suggestions? Or are you aware of any resources where something similar is explained? The old "Choose Your Own Adventure" books keep coming to mind as examples, and I've seen HTML versions of this. Anyone familiar with flash attempts? Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry if this is not the appropriate place for this thread. |
