dynamic text and mask not working?

I have a movie clip with all my content in it, and I have a mask applied to the entire movie clip so the user can't see it come in from the bottom of the stage, however, when I test the movie with the mask active, all the dynamic text I have disappears....is this a known bug or is there a work around this?

Font used in dynamic textfields, needs to be embedded under a mask.
