title is pretty self explanatory, neither of these work. if i open a clean new Adobe Air project in flash cs3 and type trace('hello'); then nothing happens whatsoever..
but if i type in air.trace('hello'); then i get an error saying Accessing an undefined property.. how the hell do i trace out?? |

ok, apparently it works if i click Debug Movie, but not if i do Test Movie.
i don't want to have to "debug movie" every single time i want to test out my app... is there any reason why it wont work in Test Movie?? |

because you are no longer in the flash environment. When you test movie, you are actually launching the app if I am not mistaken.
