You can pull the time from the user's computer clock.
Use a Date object, and it will be completely synced. Date objects let you read everything from milliseconds to year.

I randomly made one a while ago, I'll zip it up and post it. You'll probably only need the date thing, but it's a whole LCD type clock sorta thing.

All I see in the SWF is a gradient background.
And you must be using CS3, I can't open the FLA. XS

Heh, you must be using a mac... my flash stuff doesn't work on macs. (NO explination, I have no clue. It is not intentional.)

And yes, I'm using CS3. So... I guess you just won't be able to look at it. Try embedding it in a .html file... maybe the web player will play it. (I can't check, not having a mac.) My friends sorta want me to get one, but they're kinda pricy. (3,000 bucks for my equivelant, maybe even better, that costed 1,500? No thanks!) But now I'm getting off topic...

Anyone able to see it other than me? (Plus, does anyone actually find it useful? It was just a little project I threw together in an hour, then made gradual additions.)

I have flash CS3 and i'm able to view the sample clock by Durnus. It is really cool..... I m really impressed by the way the digits change when clock ticks...!

BtW, Durnus, ppl if drop the swf in the browser will still not be able to see it. You might like to convert the code for Flash 8 and distribute again to make it accessible!
