How To Play Video In Flash Projector

Hello!

I've got some experience in linking video (.flv) files in web-based flash files, but I need to create a DVD presentation and need to play a video inside (.mov); how do I do this? Shouldn't be complicated I guess, but can't find out how, since the "import" dialog box of CS3 doesn't seem to let me do it. My presentation will be created in Actionscript 2.0/ for player 9...

Hi There,

Efter being awed by the simplicity and amazing quality of the FLV and media components in MX'04 I decided to incorporate them in my Flash CD-ROM project.

Running external, streaming movies through the Media Playback comp showed to be a breeze playing the SWF file. Starting and running the MP, in a now layered SWF file, proved very hard indeed. The Flash player whines about "A script causing M Flash Player 7 to run slowly..." and then crashes the app. javascript:smilie('')

All I've done is:
-placed the MP comp in a separate track
-singel keyframe with a stop()
-wrote the URL to my local file (no spaces)
-adjusted the comp width and hight

Runs fine is SWF but crashes in the projector. What's up with that?javascript:smilie('')
