Question

I'm trying to figure out a way to pull off a certain effect. Basically if you can picture a floor machine (buffer) moving overtop a dark blue background cleaning as it goes. Wherever the head moves (and cleans) I would like the blue area to be white (to make it look like it's cleaning the dark blue background. I have a book on masking but it's kinda basic. Maybe masking isn't what i need though...THe only other way i can think of is to do it with frames (there would be LOTS though).

Just an idea...
Thanks

If you simply want to use blue and white (mattes colors with not special effects or graphics in the background which are being revealed, or anything special like that) you should look into using duplicateMovieClip and a white, circular MC.
