Default Scrolling Text - Why does it make the other links not working?

Hi!
I have a scrolling text box on my site. It usually works well. But when the text is too long, the other links doesn't work!
Why???

Howdy...

Um... No fortune tell here... Show us the code you think is problematic, then people will see what they can do to help you...

And be more specific when talking about the problem... You might want to specify what links are not working or how it is not working...

I made the scrolling like this:
-The text field variable name is "texto"
-Frame action: set variable
variable: texto
value: "bla bla bla....."
-Button up action (same to button down): with
on (press) {
with (UP) {
gotoAndPlay(2);
}
}
on (release) {
with (UP) {
gotoAndStop(1);
}
}

-Insert new symbol: Movie Clip
frame 1: action stop
frame 2: action set variable
variable: _root.texto.scroll
value: _root.texto.scroll -1
frame 3: Action: gotoAndPlay (2)

-Duplicate MC and change de value to: _root.texto.scroll +1

So, it usually works well, but when the text "bla bla bla..." is too long, the links of the menu bar of my site doesn´t work.
And when I delete half of "bla bla bla..." there is no problem any more.
Do You know why?
Thanks.

Maybe there is a certain part that Flash can't understand within your 'blah blah' sentence??? Don't blah blah here... Paste the exact value, would you???

I don´t think so that is the problem...
I´ve been trying to do this by many ways. First I deleted the second part of the text, it worked. So, I tryied to delete the first part of the text, it worked too.
But anyway, here is the text (the text box has the option "render text as html):

.R$20.000,00<BR>Total do investimento..................................R$50 .000,00

Taxa de marketing ...............5% sobre cada compra<BR>Faturamento médio De R$ 15.000,00 a <BR>mensal previsto................... R$60.000,00 conforme o ponto.

I guess that wasn't the problem after all... Just tried what you have described and the other buttons worked just fine, if that's what you have meant... See the sample that I tested... Still don't quite get what you meant by your question though...
