This could seem a noob question, but I really appreciate any explanation.
I develop flash animations and internet sites since a while, the most still using AS 2.0 and I always published them as simple .swf.

Now I would like to create a CD presentation for windows and (possibly) mac.
I need it to be as standalone as possible, because even if it not something professional, I would like to reach a large number of users.
My CD presentation can be very simple, if this increase the compatibility: basically I just need an "fullscreen-mode" movie container for loading external .swf or .flv movies.

So, the question is: should I prefer external application as mdm Zinc and other similar "swf to exe" software or may I simply use the build-in flash projectors?
What are the most important differences between this two options?
Which one would you suggest?
Thank,
Riccardo
