Question banners

How do I make two banners on the same page interact with each other? Or, what is that called so I can do a better search?

Howdy and Welcome...

You can use LocalConnection class to talk to another SWF on the same computer... You might try that term in the forum which will render some usable discussions...

... and the searching continues...
I think its localConnection() ish...
Movie A is a skyscraper on the left of the page, Movie B is a skyscraper on the right of the same page. Snowboarder starts in A goes over the page and into Movie B. Looking at what I've found on localConnection that's not quite what I want? Although really cool to know about and I'll have to read up more on it to do nifty new things.

and no, I can't recall where I saw this in order to be clear by showing the example. Darn it.

edit: http://creativezone.eyeblaster.com/#...me=EastLink%20 top banner guy appears to kinda fall into it...

Wait a bit. The girl falls. Now that I have an idea of what its called (thank you creativezone.eyeblaster) I'll be able to search it. Unless you already know where I can find how to do that hehe... synched banners/ overlay to banner/floating expandable are the terms I found from creativezone

Question

So I've come up with synched banners/ overlay to banner/floating expandable/hockey stick banner/companion campaign/tandem-Ad/layer ad

another example:

Now... how on Earth are these made?

Sure! thanks I also found Digital Arts Magazine at Barns and Nobles. It had a small tutorial on "pop out" banners. So for anyone that stumbles upon this thread... add that to the search.
