I cant seem to "drag a copy" of my movie clip from the library to the stage! It just springs back into its original position. Please help!

I've seen this problem before but have never seen a solution. Could be a bug...have you tried dragging both from the preview pane and the list view? Also try closing and reopening the file and / or library.

Also, if you have multiple files open, make sure it's the relevant library. I've have this porblem when I was using the library from another clip that was open simulteneously.

unlock the selected layer...(thats what the problem was last i saw it happen...)

it could also be something as simple as not having a keyframe on that specific frame, but it sounds more like a bug

Maybe resave the file using File / Save As ???
