Yes you can, but you can only include limited formatting like underlines, bold, color, links, etc. Mainly text formatting. NO graphics or visual elements.
To include HTML, create a dynamic text field and check the HTML checkbox. You can also type the full URL of the HTML file you want to display into the HTML field of the text box options (aint used this soI'munsure how it works).
Checkout the new tutorial on scrolling text as it has exmaples of loading formatted HTML text in the FLA which coems with the tutorial.
