Hi there.
I want to have my Flash 4 movies to show the date with the days of the week like a usual javascript. I downloaded a tutorial from Flash Planet but it didn't work. Anyone knows where to find a tutorial that really works? Thanks in advance |

Hi Jesse, thanks for that tutorial but what I really want is to put the date in my movies, the time will be usefull for me in the future, so that tutorial was great.
What I want is to put something like: Thursday, 29 April, 2001, in my movies. This is all I want for now, but in the future I'll certainly put the time as well. I'm sure that what I want is easier than the time. If you can find me a tutorial about that would be great! thanks a lot David |

The only ones which work with Flash 4 require some other form of script to send the date:
(CGI) http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Scrip...11/index.shtml (ASP) http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Scrip...22/index.shtml (Javascript) http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Scrip...18/index.shtml More at http://www.flashkit.com/cgi-bin/movi...uery=date&nh=3 Cheers Jesse

Thanks Jesse, I think that the last link you gave me will work the way I would like it to.
I'm going to try it now and write you back later. Thanks David |
