Default flash in linux

hey everyone, being that i'm completely fed up with windows but refuse to buy one of those godawful pez-dispenser macs, im thinking about switching to linux. i would like to know if anyone has any experience using flash on a linux system, and what their experience was like.

for all i know there is no flash linux version...
