That effect is probably done via the timeline (a very long one with alot of frames).

The resean I say thay is because the SWF is 355KB and self contained.

So I would say its timeline based and no Actionscript involved. Just basic "Motion Tweens" probably, no code.

thank you i figured it out, the effect i was looking for was done with easing rather then action script, thanks again for puting me on the right track!!!!
