Arrow Simple. Very simple but I need help!

Hi there.
I wonder what is the right way to formulate this simple action

on (release) {
nextFrame()+1;
}

or

on (release) {
prevFrame()-2;
}

I know this is wrong 'couse I've tried it and it does not work.
Basically I just need to know where to place the +1 in order to jump to the next frame plus another.
can u help?

Ah, simple question eh?, my favourite kind
You'd be better off using _currentframe
ActionScript Code:
on(release){   gotoAndStop(_currentframe+1); }

you could also write it as this._currentframe+1;
Hope this helps,
Mort
