Default input text

Hi

I've searched, searched and searched again but can't find what I need, but I apologise in advance if i managed to miss the answer elsewhere.

All i'm trying to do is create a text box that a user can type into with a normal keyboard, I just don't know how to do it.

If someone could let me know what script i need to get it to work that would be fantastic.

Many thanks in advance

Paul

hi paulinskip

to make that, you need to create a textfield, and set it's properties to 'input-text'.
In that propertieswindow you can change many things, like allowed characters, maximum characters allowed, ... etc

Also try to do a search in the flash-helpfiles on that, should give you loads of info...

friendly greetings
robin

hi

Thanks for your reply, I can create a text box without any problems I don't know how i enable it so that when the keys on the keyboard are pressed it types into the box.

I'm assuming it is actually so simple which is why I haven't been able to find out how to do it!

Many thanks
