Default Difference between a list and a comboBox?

Just wondering what the difference is between the two. Can't seem to find anything online that tells me.

Scroll all the way down

ComboBox: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/lan.../ComboBox.html
List: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/lan...rols/List.html

Google it next time, please.

From those links:
The List control displays a vertical list of items.
The ComboBox control contains a drop-down list from which the user can select a single value.
