Externally load a swf

i am trying to load an swf in a little rectangle and not the whole window. Just wondering if it's possible.

what you mean?
regarding rectangle , are you talking about a part of the html? or a part of a flash file?

sorry, i mean inside a flash file, i have a rectangle 300, 200 and i want the externally loaded file to come in their

after you load the swf, instantiate it as a Sprite, then if your rectangle is a Sprite, simply use :

theNameOfYourRectangleSprite.addChild(yourLoadedSW FasASprite);
