Default web banners

When you create web banners is it better to use a .swf with an .AS file or is it better to use one .swf file with script on the time line?
I ask because last night I ran in to some problems with FireFox and my .swf and .as file.

Creating a SWF with AS file & creating a SWF with codes in the timeline should create exactly the same SWF file...
When you deploy the product to a server, you don't push AS file... You only push SWF file(along with the HTML file that embeds SWF file, of course) to the server...

Woking exactly the same is what I was thinking.

When I tested my movie I just deployed the swf and then deployed it in the HTML webpage. I think it has something to do with a AC_RunActiveContent.js or lack of file.
My banner has class created dynamic falling snow (its a tutorial from Kirupa.com ) which crunches up in the top left corner of the banner stage when the banner runs on my web page.
In Opera and Safary the banner works well.

Try using SWFObject to embed the SWF file instead of AC_RunActiveContent...

What's not working on IE or Firefox???
