[AS3] Flash game help

Hello everyone,

I am a Web Design student. During Flash CS4 we got acquainted with Action Script 3.0. As for our homework, we have to create a Flash game. For me, as a beginner, this is very difficult.

The design part is easy for me, but the scripting is where the trouble begins. We have seen all the basic commands and now we need to put them together depending on which game you choose.

I was thinking about Arcanoid, Tetris or a game where you have a little plane in the bottom of your screen who shoots an entire flock of flying planes in the top of the screen.

So as for the question, can someone help me with the script? Wether you help me find a good tutorial, some premade scripts or guidelines... I don't mind as long as it can help me continue with my homework.

What do I mean with help? I am not asking for a complete game, but perhaps more experienced programmers know which games might be easy to make, where I can find information or anything that helps me finish this homework assignment.
