Unhappy Optimaze problem....it takes up all resources and still hangs!!!

Hey guys,

I've been looking at Optimaze, since I'm trying to figure out if it would be worth the purchase for my company, so I downloaded a cr#cked version to give it a go...

But when I start it, it immidiatelly takes up 98% of my CPU resources (with and AMD XP1800 cpu and 512mb RAM!), and still hangs as soon as I open any file (including tut. files). It's bizarre...and even if I do get a file opened, as soon as I start tweaking the settings it shows the hourglass....and never stops again. And I'm not talking about massive 3D animations...I've tried this with an swf with a square in it, and 1 keyframe...go figure...

Second problem, the program has the dumbest navigation on opening files ever...it doesn't show more then 9 foldersin 'My Documents'...So I have 15 folders in 'My Documents', and my Flash work is in folder 12 or something...and it doesn't show the folder at all...so unless I move my folder to another place....I can't even find it...but it does show more folders in the Program Files folder...whatever...

What other problems this program has I don't know...because I haven't been able to use it at all yet...

Has anyone else used this program yet? If so, am I the only one with these troubles? Might the reason be that it's a cracked version? Because if this is a general problem....well hell, I know lots of other things to spend € 130,- on...

you're not likely to get too much sympathy until you pay for a legit copy

Yeah, OK dude, whatever...I guess I'll just pay my € 130,- for this program without having a clue how it works or if it's any good.

Since there's NO DEMO on the site...I'm supposed to buy this program based on the 'objective' judgement of the company itself...hahaha, think again my friend. Give me a break...

Now, back to my question...

Please do not ask about pirated software. You'll get the board owners into trouble this way. That's why even those who can answer, won't.

Would it be possible for someone who does have something for me then to PM me?

I understand your point Ricod, but I'm hoping everyone here agrees with me, that it's BS to assume people to simply go out and buy software (especially as specific as this is for which I haven't been able to find any user experiences) without being able to try it out...

* If Ideaworkd3D is reading this thread by any chance:
Assuming I won't be able to figure this out I will now toss this package and NOT buy your software because you don't provide a demo on your site, and I can't get any support since I was forced by you to try out an illegal version! Oh well, your loss.

Personally : Well, that's also true. Not providing demo's is asking for it.

Still, as a board, we can't support it.
