Question

I really like the relevare.com navigation. I think they really hit on something with that zoom-pan effect. I've been trying to recreate it with actionscript and just can't seem to get the motion right. I think I'm close but need a little help.

As I post this, http://www.relevare.com seems to be down for me. My attempt is here: http://www.webgalleries.cc/employees/josh/flabbertop/

You can view the swf or download the FLA. If you grab the FLA make sure and grab the .AS file as well. It is required.

Thanks for your time.

the only thing I didn't try was calculating the distance that is need to be moved. I am gonna try that and see if it makes the motion smoother.
