What exactly is a reel by the way?

I love that site, the whole ring-binder and sketches and the chunky navigation.

I also liked the work that had gone into it, like, for example, the fact that they had still concentrated on getting rid of content neatly, before any scrolling of the bg image.

I thought i was going to find out what a Reel was when i clicked on the Reel button, but alas all i got was a blank square, so yeah...what is a reel ?

Reel = Movie Reel, a film, a video, a movie clip, ect.

but more specifically, a reel is a portfolio of your film/animation/video work examples. The term applies to character animators, motion designers, editors, directors of photography... you name it.
