Default Trouble with mapping fonts

I downloaded a template from template monster, when I go to view the site (untouched by me) everything looks great...but when I go in to modify the flash documents, it says that the fonts cannot be found, and a default will be used instead. Thus, when I save the flash file, it looks nothing like the template anymore.

So, obviously, the fonts exist in the first place, otherwise it wouldn't play in the unmodified version. And I see the fonts folder...so what's going on here?

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Thanks!

fonts were compiled into the .swf from the original .fla file (which had access to the fonts the author was using). When opening the .fla file it searched for the font on your system and couldn't find it. So they were replaced by other fonts. The only way to fix that is to note the name of the fonts it was looking for and purchase them or find them on the web. Then install them on your computer and restart a fresh copy of your .fla.

Thanks! I believe I have the fonts already though, it came with a 'fonts' folder. Can I map it to this?

yes install the font in your fonts folder (on windows) and they should then be available in your .fla.
