Default Web question.

OK, I have a website already done in FrontPage. I want to keep everything the same except the menu bars. I am re-doing those in Flash MX. Once I have those done;

1) How and where do I insert them into the webpage? and...

2) How do I get it to link to a page within the site (in other words, have the menu and stuff stay there, but open up a new window within the existing browser). I know I will have to add something to the end of the URL, but don't really know what it is.

Thanks for all your help.

publish your flash menu as html.
open up the created html page in your favorite editor, and copy everything from the opening <object> tag to the closing</object> tag.
open the web page you want to put your flash object into, remove your old menu, and paste you object code into that spot.
make sure when you ftp your page to your site, that you also send your swf file along with it.

for opening pages...
in flash use the getURL() action. you can read more about it in the flash reference.
what the hell was i thinking?
