Default [AS3] Caption Button Disappears

Basic specs:
Using AS3 with FLVPlayback and FLVPlaybackCaptioning objects called via document class. Using the SkinUnderAll FLVPlayback skin that is provided by Adobe (with some color tweaks to the skin ... nothing fancy). Captions being provided via W3C Timed Text files. Started in CS4 then moved to CS5. Also did some back-and-forth between the two versions of Flash.

Problem:
The FLVPlayback works. The FLVPlaybackCaptioning works as planned. However, when the skin loads, the caption button disappears. The space for the button is there. There's nothing in the code that would change the visibility or disable the button.

The showCaptions settings are currently set to true just to test, but nothing is making the button show up. I've even tried forcing the visibility of the caption button, but nothing is working.

Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated.

Tim

Hey Tim,
I'm not sure if this will be much help but maybe when the skin is loading into the caption button it is loading overtop and filling the whole space where the caption button is and therefore blocking the caption button from being viewed.

Hope that is helpful,
Tim
