Great look and feel.

Just a few more things could give it the professional boost it needs:

I feel like all those bars can't just end. Then need to extend all the way across the screen. I also recommend you use a pop-up window, or create a fill in gif that will extend those bars on the sides for screens of different resolutions. Maybe pop-up window would be a better idea.

Also, the logo "NetworkShadow" needs a better look. Before you come up with a logo, you can start with somthing simple. Try Arial, with little spacing between letters. Then just make it look like this:

or you can lowercase the N and S. You can try other fonts too.

Do you want to try a different color than that mossy green for highlights? Maybe a brighter green or a kind of blue? Maybe even an electrofying purple.

In addition, the picture of the waterfall I think would be better if it were horizontally flipped because then your logo will not be hard to see, rather it would be in the water mist.

Think about making that ninja guy glow an opaque white. Or maybe make the picture gradient mask out where the ninja is. Therefore, when a picture is selected, you wouldn't see that straight line boundary where the bottom of the picture ends, and it would give a more professional look.

I thought the same things myself but I'm going to get the scripting done first.

I've added a user controlled fade point but I'm not sure if it was there when I put this post up.

so how 'd you do it then?
change the _alpha values according to to _x values?

because when I try to make a movement with easing I somehow l somehow always get the wrong value when I trace the _x.

Sorry guys I won't be giving those secrets away just yet but I've just added a couple of updates including fireballs on the logo, a contact form and an addition to the portfolio.
