[AS2] looping & multiple hit testing efficiency
Hi, another few questions,
Firstly, I am currently using setIntervals to repeat functions over & over again but i'm not sure if this is the correct way to do it as there's a lag due to the amount of code. The only reason I have used this is that it is the only way I know how to loop.
Secondly, whats the best way of making vast numbers of potential hit tests whilst still knowing exactly which objects have been hit? Basically, the game i'm making is a navy shooter game where ships can collide with other ships, enemy & user torpedoes can hit scenery, other enemies or other user controlled allied ships, as well as all of the individual torpedoes in the water too. I can't just stick all of them in 1 MC as it would lose track of which torpedo has to explode & which ship to lose health etc etc.
