How can I manually dispatch a combobox ListEvent.CHANGE?

I haven't tried this but
ActionScript Code:
dispatchEvent(new ListEvent(ListEvent.CHANGE));
might be a good shout.

comboBoxName.selectedIndex = 0;
comboBoxName.dispatchEvent(new ListEvent(ListEvent.CHANGE));
