Hi,
I've made a game in flash 5. It's basicly a shooting game with quite a lot of script. It's works fine when I test run it in flash but as soon as I publish it to an html page it dosen't work properly. Does anyone know of a reason why? Could it be a loading problem. thanks |

Hi...
Its a bit hard to say without first viewing some of your code, maybe you could post it. Having said that theres a good chance that if your using key presses in your game then they wont work unless you first set focus to the swf movie. This is a bug in Flash. To test, click on your movie and see if it becomes active. To remedy this problem the excepted method is to have an enter screen covering your movie. An enter screen would have some text that said something like, "Press To Start". By pressing on the enter screen the user sets focus to the Flash movie. Hope this helps. |
