Default scrollbar and external html text

http://www.charismatravel.net/test/

go to the site click our story and increase the text size and you will see at the very bottom once you scroll text is cut off from the right.

Why? I have no clue. As you see on enter frame it formats fine once I press a button which only set text to a new format that just increases text size it get screwed.

so I am trying to remedy this with:

main_text.autoSize = "left";
txtscrollbar.setScrollTarget(main_text);

but as soon as I use autoSize scrollbar just gets disabled any clue why text gets cut of or how to fix it? All I want is for button to increase font size and for text to warp properly

would textWidth help? I am not sure what parameters I should be setting for it thought.

main_text.textWidth = 484.9;

2 days trying to fix this totally out of ideas

BTW main_text.font = "_sans" maybe I should embed some font and try again? In the html code no font is specified.

Is it my imagination, or is it only the last three short paragraphs that are affected?

Have you examined the loaded text to see if there is anything unusual in there that might cause it? (Can't think what, but you never know).

Why not try embedding a font like you say - but not _sans because you can't embed system fonts. See if it changes anything.

Mmm. You've used UI Components which complicates the issue.

I think it might be - horror - a bug in the component, because when you alter the text, the last part always suffers from the problem.

I cut out chunks of text, added copies, and so on, and about the same area of the bottom of the window was affected every time.

Tricky one.

Well, you could search for other (improved) components.

If you are interested, I built a scrollbar with draggable bar from scratch which you could have - lot more fiddly to use than a component because you have to set it up, but it is obviously fully customisable because you can get at all the elements.

How's this then?
A few formating problems still... A few indents caused by the textfield's width and the different text sizes, but no cut-offs.

Well, now we can see that you can do it...

...Help forum...?

Care to explain the problem for learning purposes, then?

Don't see it as an explanation, but more like a possible workaround... I've embedded the fonts (linked to the Library), and reload the text file each time I change the text format.

Although the html supported font tags, sometimes work, as in the initial screen, think it's better to control anything that has an effect on text style through different text formats.

Here it is for what it may be worth!

PS: For historical purposes, this post would be my 500th.
