after exe, how to make autorun

hi everybody, now i am doing a project, and cheers, i finished the flash already , but the problem is how to make the flash movie autorun when user insert the cd to cdrom instead of click on the exe file?

Hi,

I did the same thing for my portfolio.
On the root of the cd you will need an .INF file.

Copy this:

[autorun]
open = project.exe

paste into notepad and save as AUTORUN.INF where project is the name of your projecter file.

Burn all this onto a cd and test.

create a text file using notepad and insert the following text:

[AutoRun]
open=whatever.exe
icon=whatever.ico

...replace "whatever.exe" with the file name of the projector file. The "whatever.ico" is optional and allows you to attach an icon to the cd. Save this text file as "AutoRun.inf" and save to your cd along with the projector file and your golden.

but a few more more thing to ask ....i saw a cd, also created by flash mx, but its exe file icon is not appear as normal one, which is a circle with macromedia symbol inside...and its icon=whatever.ico is shown as icon=whatever.exe, it confuse me....is it another way to do also?

icon=whatever.ico

...allows you to have a icon for your CD in Windows Explorer, it doesn't change icon of your Projector. To change that you will have to mess with prog called Resource Hacker or with some proper 3rd party tools. Check this:
