Default FormMail integration

Hey there,

I'm trying to use MX to send variables through formmail.cgi, and I'm wondering if there are any variations I need to make to the cgi file in order to make it work. Because my clients site is currently set up for Frontpage extensions [Blech], I'm running it across domains [example, clientsite.com hosts the Flash, and mysite.com hosts the cgi], so I'm using the @recipients tag to specify what domain it's allowed to mail to [clientsite.com], but I'm wondering about the @referrers tag, if that needs to be set a certain way. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using FormMail version V1.92 from Matt's Script Archive, and the permissions are set to 755 as usual. Thanks.

Hi,

Here is a piece of script that works with LoadVars on FormMail:

ActionScript Code:
//start mail form //the submit button _root.envoyer.onRelease = function() {     varmail = new LoadVars();     // fill out the "varmail" object with the form's variables     varmail.recipient = "[email protected]"; //It's working on a French version of FormMail     varmail.Nom = nom_id.text;     varmail.Email = courrier_id.text;     varmail.Message = message_id.text;     varmail.send("http://yourdomain/cgi-bin/formmail.pl", "post"); }; //end mail form

Thanks, but I know how to send the variables... I just need to know if I need to do something different in the perl, since it's coming out of a Flash form and not an HTML one.

Works with my ISP (www.infomaniak.ch).

However, I am still struggling with the redirect function. My ISP won't let me touch the config of FormMail (BTW, if anybody knows what to put between the quotes varmail.redirect = "" to avoid the default pop-up html... )
