math.random or variable setting problem

I am doing a tute from a friends of ed book. It is a hangman game
that uses an array to randomly get a word and then you guess the letters.

It works the first time and them when it picks a word it appears to tack letters of the last word mixed in with it.

I have stared at this for hours in complete frustration. Im am only a beginner. Can anyone help.

just u were adiing a "comma" (,) after the last word in the wordlist array

no, sorry i put that coma their when i was experimenting to get rid of the problem, it through all sorts of script errors so I Knew this couldnt be the cause..

did you try playing it a few times. Play it by getting some wrong.

I've tried it twice and it worked nice

i just removed the comma and played the game one and i lost delibratly. when i went to replay it the screen shows this.

???c??
as it shows it has not cleared the field and reveals one or two letter.
